I've signed but I don't think it will effect us as spearing has been banned over here anyway. Well if not technically banned then destroyed might be a better description. No vis = no spearing. 6 months now with almost no vis. Never been known before, I reckon. After 2 weeks of calm it starts to clear but after one day of wind/swell it's back to no vis.

Yes Dave. Out sailing tonight and was actually quite clear towards lower heads, then we came in near gabrielle and you couldnt see the end of the keel (2m!!!)...aaaaagh
Off to jersey this weekend for the annual gsy-jsy yacht race so will give you first hand on the water report on the viz between here and jersey. Only problem is Nigel Gale is coming with us so might get a 'bit' out of hand

The reason I thought it might be unheathly to eat those wild rabbits is that I guess never got over seeing that movie 'Watership Down' when I was a kid. Aren't all rabbits rabid, just like all sharks are maneaters? ;-) g.

Was gonna go for a dip friday night as having scouted a few areas thursday it was beginning to look very fishable indeed then bloody typical - the wind pics up and it ruins my plans GRRRR!
Must go now cause I'm getting depressed allready

You can borrow it anytime, i just have to put it back together first as its stripped for an overhaul because it had been sat around with no air in the canister for about a year and most of the seals were shot and it hissed like a angry snake. Lovely guns to shoot, very light, accurate, quick cocking and easy to handle - the ideal verminator.

I would really like to know what is causing the horrible cloudy water that is surrounding our island?
Huge brown areas of water can be seen from many vantage points; what is this stain polluting our normally clear sea?
Surely some relevant States employee can take a water sample & have it analyzed?

Some bloke from sea fisheries was on the radio on my way into work. He said they were "hopefull" it would clear in the next fortnight (guessing no doubt!) and that they'd "ruled out" algae blooms, pollution and dredging in French France.
Blamed the storms again, but to my mind we've had storms before and it started well before the main storm anyway!
