Guernsey 2009

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Heck it must be bad if the aquarium water is choppy!!

Looked clear form above last night up north. Only pollack in it though.
 
Ref.the the first ormering tides of 2010...the two days starting tomorrow...
I found this old photo of myself and Martyn(foxfish) in the act!
For those not familiar with this ancient lunatic tradition you can imagine,given that it's restricted to the coldest months,that it's not entirely a fun-fest!
Although some wily folk manage to find the critters on dry land, most plunge into the briny and shift a ton of good old Guernsey granite, hoping to find enough for a feed clinging to the underside of submerged boulders.

Cor that was a few years ago although I can remember the occasion quite clearly.
Looks like I had a black tash so must be old as its been grey for a few years now rofl

It was a dozen for me at the Knife...
It's 2 hours since I got home and I'm still on 'DE-FROST"!
Still....not bad for a 72 year-old!
