Hi guys, just to let you all know, we are starting a new spearfishing group in Jersey called 'Jersey Dive Team'. The main emphasis will be on social diving but we will also hold a few competitions each year. If any of you are over in Jersey and fancy meeting for a dive or would like to enter any of the competitions you can contact us via our Facebook page. See you next year!

Hi Dan
hope you are well.
Is this to take the place of the club apnea or is it as well as? Cheers

Hi,
Club Apnea will still exist but purely as social diving club. Jersey Dive Team will also run social dives and include a few competitions in its calendar for the year.
You planning another visit?

I would like to try and get over a couple of times mate. Hopefully 2 or 3 of us can make the trip in my van which will make things a lot easier and spread the costs.

Got in for a quick dip this morning. Was having trouble clearing one of my ears which was a nuisance. Temp felt ok and it was only my feet which got a bit chilly in my summer socks! Wind picked up after about 30 mins. Found 15 scollies and a couple of medium chancres so not a bad morning at all. Just happy to of got in again. Finally got around to making a rig up to hold my fins to my beauchat guardian which made things a lot easier

Glad to see you are still the life of the party.
Have a happy Xmas and a great new year guys

Heh Jonny great vid from your dive this morning. A couple of us were also mad enough to brave the frost. Vis was nothing like your conditions, but probably a milky 3-4m. We did manage a couple of late season fat plaice though. On behalf of the Jersey boys , best wishes and a very happy and healthy 2015 to all our Guernsey friends.
