fishing for some storage ideas please chaps.
I finally have a half decent car which given my current surfing and spearfishing habits will shortly become not a nice half decent car. I spend most of my life covered in sand and salt water and bunging diving/surfing gear in the boot. I have front seat covers already but want to change how I move store my dive gear/surfing gear.
any tips or recommendation's, as at this rate im going to destroy my car interior pretty quickly.
was thinking of making a tube to to go on my roof and put my fishing rods/speargun in, practical idea or foolish?
thoughts please.

I use three of these boxes for all my wet stuff. One each for my surf, scuba and spearfishing kit. They are pretty robust, stack well, and you never loose the lid.

Was in at vazon from 2 until 8 basically, alternated between 2 different reefs, swell went from waist high to double overhead in a couple of hours , awsome
lol not quite the words i was using when i was out! the big lines of spray blowing up in the wind were pretty impressive.
Things have dramatically improved over the last few days. 4-6m of viz everywhere and occasionally 10m. Not much in the way for fish yesterday, saw one large wrasse and a few tiddlers. Water is warming up too, so hope to see more fish soon.

better get a move on with sorting the gear out, and make sure it's not too windy for my first dip this time...
over the sand out the tide at the back of lihou was crystal clear yesterday. still some muddy areas too tho so choose wisely!!!

Yes Mart, the old nursery left a load of interesting stuff behind. Had a mooch around a few years ago on the pretense of looking for our cat. Its owned by Zeff Eisenburg now, the bloke involved in the skate park and sausmarez park playground appeal, amongst other things.
