I went in yesterday on the east coast for about 3 hours and the visibility was pretty good. There were some big fish around too!

No, unfortunately I missed twice (both at mullet). I swear one of the them did the old matrix trick on me!! Might go in this evening and try to redeem myself.

Awesome dive tonight with Jonny. Amazing vis and great surroundings, it was one of those evenings where had I left with no fish I would still have a grin from ear to ear. I left with 1 bass (48cm) and Jonny left with 2
One of my favourite swims for a very long time! Loads and loads of fish seen, first fish taken within 2 minutes. Saw and missed another huge clonker at point blank!!! Great vis, good company and a very good walk

lots more fishes seen today in awesome vis too. took a bass on the open sand - guts full of crabs.
had bass come in on the drops at last - had one about 12" from my mask, i stayed dead still and he did a loop around me then swimmed off, i was more than happy to watch it go
just got out before the fog thickened - raced it in the last 20 minutes!!

I would think the most effective way would be a crippled live sand eel (cut off its tail) but that would be a bit barbaric for me!
Perhaps a wriggly rag worm might work?
