hmn.. well it isnt exactly a gun for girls, but its one that girls can handle easily
my new gun, a little beuchat arka that i bought to use as a cave gun, basically its very underpowered as standard, and loading it was a real pain, but i figured i wouldnt be using it that much anyways, so i kept it standard.. all for about 2 days (pretty much a record for me, i dont like keeping things standard)
the 2nd day of it being stock, i realised that i was just torturing myself, so i changed the rubbers from what i think were rubber bands spraypainted black, to the 16 mm ones that came from my mundial (i replaced them with 20mm "megatonne" ones) i just cut them a bit shorter, and tied in a wishbone instead of putting back on the caps (something about misplacing one of the caps in my somewhat disorganised room.. it'll turn up if i ever clean my room, honest !!)
then i carried it for water trials.. but it just happened that it was my little sisters first time coming spearing with us, so i let her use it, after making sure that the wishbone was in securely and all that stuff, and the complaints started :hmm basically it went this way - seeethhh i cant load the speargun, u do it for me, she couldnt pull it back properly hip loading, and it hurt her chest too much, so i made the bulky looking but very useful chest pad out of teak, she hasnt used it since then, but somehow i think that there is another female spearo out there now, who stole her brothers cave gun rofl
