I have now had a message from Steve W who is trying to get accommodation for the fish in dates & he is bringing his partner!!!
Still no news from Marco but I am sure he will be here too (& Lora) What have I started

That is the spirit mate try here Guernsey Hotels - Peninsula Hotel, Guernsey, Channel Islands but if you planed a night dive it might not be the best night to stay as we are all in Herm for the evening on Friday.
I am going to come over on friday 15th with podge and crew and go back on saturday night.
I have to go to germany the following week with work so trip will be cut short.
Need to find hotel for one night any suggestions.
Welcome on board John. Shame you had to miss last year but as a pioneering member of the Guernsey fish-in you have a reserved place, anytime. Looking forward to seeing you again.

Mart better make sure they’ve got plenty of supplies:friday as Glowworm is well shall we say a little more substantial than he was before he gave up the keep fit club.
As it is I’m going to put a little more air in my car tyres for the trip over and what with him and me its just as well we’ll have an extra weight belt in the boot to keep us from pulling a wheelie off from the ferry.roflrofl

I am going to set another event date during the fish-in for "the big get together meal" Sunday the 17th will be the great lobster fest.
I realise our Jersey friends wont be here but I need Sarah's support & she will be working in the week days so Sunday evening it will be.
So that means any one wanting to night dive will have the Sat, Mon or Tuesday nights to get in the water, of course there is no reason why you cant go any night if you dont want to party.
I think Saturday night (for those not diving) can be planned nearer the time but there will be a local band down my "local" or plenty of other social activities will be an option :friday
Last year we consumed 16 lobsters how many this year?

For me the Lobster party was without question one of the high lights of last years trip.
