Not sure if we shouldn't be visiting you rather than the other way around. Some shore angler caught a 13lb+ bass a few days ago in Jersey (seen the picture) and supposedly 2 others over 10lb have also been caught. Wow.

Anyway looking forward to seeing you in August. Who's your mate ("there's 2 of us")?

Perhaps we could have the 'Guernsey open' on one of the Holiday Guernsey days?
(no idea what's involved tho - presumably catching fish like we normally try to??)

That's what the trophy is for, kind of. More of a 'relaxed' comp!

As there are no set rules for the trophy I will set some up.
1 - The trophy is for fun & will live in the club house.
2 - The trophy will be engraved with the winners name (by OMD)
3 - The trophy will be awarded to the best fish or catch including anything edible caught between the official db fishin dates (which are for 2008 15.8.08 - 19.8.08)
4 - the presentation will be made on the last day of the official fishin date.
5 - the trophy will be judged by the organiser (me) but is open to discussion or vote if deemed necessary.

that only gives the jsy boys(2 of us) 2 days to win the trophy..... anyway l snapped my achilles 7weeks ago and on monday l have my cast taken off and start 4 weeks of phsyio.... the other jsy lad is chris issac`s, he`s a very good spearo abit like foxfish always making stuff like guns, underwater video equip etc....

I've had that camp recommended to me by a few of my clients who stayed there last year. Top notch I am told. Didn't even know it was there til I picked one of them up.

Likewise, friends of mine stayed there last August for a week, they rated it highly, although they were here for a wedding and spent most of their time quite, shall we say, 'relaxed'!
