I believe by Gorbil you mean the Sciaena umbra (Brown meagre) or Umbrina cirrosa (Shi drum) - both species are called the same way in Russian as far as I remember. We have the meagre but the drum is extremely rare.
Yes, it looks like it. There were 2 types, light and dark (in color). Dark ones supposedly grew to 40 kilos, but the largest I saw was about 5.
About 'zybarik' or dentex or sargus or sargo - the large ones would be in some isolated places, while the small ones would be very common. The largest one I saw was near the town of Sudak in the village called 'Noviy Svet'. But it was a while ago.
