Back with the latest from the Freediving Worlds in Hurghada, and it’s good news and bad news for Dahab. Following her clean 72 metre dive on Thursday, things were looking good for Linda Paganelli’s Italian team, however her team mate (yes, the relaxed one who’d been sunbathing since arriving!) had a black-out at the end of her 63 metre dive, putting the Italians out of the running for the top three places. On top of that, Linda now has a cold and it is uncertain whether she will complete the other two disciplines. So, we may get lucky and get to welcome her home tomorrow if she decides to cut her competition short – be ready with big hugs and kisses for her...

I do not find it very ethic too arrange a WC and not being able to meet the standards when it comes to deliver news to the public.
One fault does not merrit the other. But yes Yehia played a game that was not beneficial for the spreading of freediving. But in the end he has cooperated with the present media. And we will in the future see "moving images" from this WC. First out will be denmark with 15 minutes and then maybe sweden with over an hour. Yehia himself plans a lot of products. And dont forget he managed to get it live on at least one channel (never happened before, and I dont think he got rich on that one.
But no Andy, its not only about opinion it is about THE LAW. Me as a person working with media I have at times thought about giving up producing stuff since as soon as one copy is out it can potentially spread and be given away for free. And as part of the official filmgroup here (we share material among us) I warms my heart that one person onj this list spoke up for the creators copyrights.
Yehia has made a misscalculation - and he might in the end lose money on this. If you can - by his coming DVD´s (Isabelle might be on it

Any news ??? i'm getting nervous !!!!!
Sorry cant help you with much - but Canadian ladies is now 2 point before Swedes who are third - preliminary. And USA ladies in catching up.
Swedish men might have taken one step up due to 6.30+ by Weine and Per.

The big guys are starting now. With a not so healthy Martin S, CZ has less chance of catching up with the danes.

Hey guys, those of you that know something, try to post exact static results. The fact that one team "made it" is great, but does not help us much if no one knows even the announced times...
Thanks!
