it's going to be a comp-training camp right before the individuals in sharm...

oh linda, yes I am still in training. good times in static and a specialtraining for nofins!
In the moment I`m not sure for the wc. I am fearful that it becomes so expensive again. In this case I will go to Lysekil only and maybee for the triple depht.

yes, it' over for us. and today it's the last day (almost finished already). tomorrow everybody is leaving, few with a medal, and most without one!

but i have to say we (the italian team) had quite a lot of fun, together with giacomo, who entertained us quite a lot! we never met each other before, but there were never any tension or conflict. hopefully next time we'll have a full male italian team also!

alex looked very strong, and surprised everybody with his bad exit. i don't know why that happened, and i don't think he's sick.
i don't know about his dyn today yet.
his cw was a very nice and clean 83m, so i'm sure he's fit enough.

Yes probably. Have you heard about Homar Leuci? He joined Aida and made it to -51 meters in Constant No Fins last month. He will presumably be there next time.

i answer your pm here, maybe it's useful also for other people.
we planned tripledepth for the week before the 2007 individual world championships in sharm el sheikh.
there was not official vote about the worlds, but so far no other country applied yet, which means sharm is the only option (and don't worry..the organizer won't be the same....apnea academy will do it!!).
the vote will be soon (january). as for the dates, that's also not sure, but rumors are first or second week of november, which means tripledepth will be last week of october or first of november.
the disciplines of the worlds will be cwt and cnf.
tripledepth will have cwt, cnf, fm. it's going to be 3 days training and 3 days comp. we're trying to keep the costs down so that who want to participate to both comp don't have to rob a bank.
as for the summer thing, around june somebody asked us to organize some record attempts which we will do very happily, and we are going to build a simple easy counterballast to take in and out the water every day, so that we don't need to put the pyramid in.
that should make things very easy to organize, and since we've got a couple of judges in town, we can keep costs down.

homar was supposed to come to hurgada, but changed his mind at the last moment. and some other guy was about to show up and never made it..italian chickens!
 
can we shift this topic (wc2007 and triple depht) into another new treath?

I am not happy, that you will organize the triple depth one week before the champs in sharm.

danish team winning (they all did around 170)
alex did 207 (apparently the best perf)
our national giacomino did 148.

CAn think of nothing else at the moment and wishing I were there!!

Hey Dave, have not heard about any milk challenge yet!!!!!!!

Its all a bit weird not being out there with all you guys!!! Have been almost glued to the DB screen in work!!!! well done Mark was it a supper slow effort again??!!

Respect to you Davey boy!!

I have been sick as a pig as I have not made it out there and have not had the chance to dive deep for so long... Actually longing to be back in the UK so that I can get in a lake and dive again!!
They are so lucky and I am stuch out here in the Canaries with rain, wind and choppy sea right now. Even spearing is tough out here without a boat.
