Trux - that's a great attitude but don't count on it. Out of all the competitions we've covered (or tried to cover) the only organisation that tried in any way to do it properly was CAFA with the Vancouver Worlds in 2004. Every other organisation has zero or less than zero interest in helping the FreeDiving public know what is going on.trux said:I just hope that organizers of future events will learn from this failure, and will assign a person resposnsible for the PR, and online reporting.
That's why I wrote I hoped they learn from this event. Finally many of the sponsors financing the competitions are suppliers of freediving (or scuba diving) equipment. And since many of potential future competition organizers are DB members and read these posts, I hope they realize how important the PR and information flow are also for gaining sufficient financing from sponsors.Stephan Whelan said:Trux - that's a great attitude but don't count on it.
