Too bad to be trapped in an office with such a nice day out there! WTF!

Agreed. Give me your bosses phone number, I'll call your office, pretend I'm your dad and say that you need to come home because of a family issue. You do the same for me and we'll go fishing!

I went for a dive at Moelfre on Anglesey today and left my f&£cking wetsuit hanging over a wall outside the ice cream parlour on the beach! I've called them and they said they can't see it. What an idiot. If anyone finds it can they get in touch please?

Bad times on the wetsuit! Hopefully someone will find it and have the decency to hand it in. What was the vis like on that side of the island today?

Hopefully, buy I'm not holding out too much hope.
Via was poor, I started on the west coast, VI's was great, but the waves were big were throwing me about too much. I had to get back before 6 so didn't have much time to start searching. I did get a nice lobster for my troubles

Nice lobster, I'm sure it'll be delicious dispite the trade off! I'm glad to hear the vis on that side is still alright even with the onshore winds. I was on the west coast last weekend and the vis halfed overnight from about 8/10m to 4/5m after a bit of swell. I've got tomorrow off so I'll probably try my luck if the weather keeps up. Anyone planning on getting out around the island?

Had my first dip in the sea this year yesterday, vis was good (north side of llynn).
Sadly no bass but I wasn't left empty handed.

Was absolutely ace to be back in the water after such a long break.

Man, my weekend sucked too. Went out with the boat and after 15 dives and over 10 miles away from the slipway the engine broke down. Had to call the cost guard who then came to rescue us and made me leave unnecessarily anchor and line at the spot. I just had the time to get a good pollock and a brown crab that's all. It sucks!!!!!

We are all home alive and safe that's whats important .Sure you will get your line and anchor back Dario. Nice to see people putting reports in. The viz was great on north side sat morning 2-10 m +even if a little windy . No fish seen to talk of just Spiders and Dogs. Looks like were all having little miss haps!

Bad bad bad news, my engine is dead so if I want to have the boat for the summer I need to buy a new engine. I'm devastated!!!!

Get that video finished and it will prob buy you a new one !LOL .what have you done to it?

£2000 damage and it's not worth fixing it. [emoji24]

Bad weekend all around for everyone! Out of curiosity what boat/engine setup are you running Dario? I've been looking at inflatables and I''m debating getting one for the summer. It needs to be able to fit into the back of a small car and be inflated/deflated with relative ease.

Ah mate - that's terrible news! Really sorry to hear that! What are you going to do?

Daf & I had a week on the Llyn back at the start of the month - my engine died on the second day which was a bit of a disaster - thankfully we hadn't launched. It was just the needle seat in the carb that needed replacing (about £100) so nothing too horrendous - all the same, it did manage to put a bit of a downer on the week as we couldn't fish all the spots we'd planned to hit.

Neither of us got round to doing a report but in general, it was really un-fishy with surprisingly little seen - saying that, we had a decent amount of fish every day - bass up to 8lbs, a nice mix of mullet, flatties, lobster, shellfish and even a gar thrown in for good measure. Fair to say we ate like kings every night!

Inflatables are good but they can be a bit of a pain to inflate/ deflate every day - if at all possible I'd recommend getting one on a trailer - it will save you so much hassle. There are lots of places near the coast you can store a boat quite cheaply.

I've got a Quicksilver 340 Airdeck with a Mariner 15hp - it's great once it's on the water but it does take a fair bit of time to pack up and put away. If you do get one, you'll 100% need one of the Bravo pumps that attach to your car battery - I can't even imagine how much of a pain it would be to pump the boat up by hand!

I have a RIB on a trailer which had a 40HP outboard. I don't know yet what I am going to do. :( My mechanic is looking for a good second hand engine and will give me an update this week.

Sorry to hear that Dario :( Hopefully, you will find a good solution!

We definately peered through the gates of Pollock Heaven hey Bro.... Hopefully the pain has started to abate slightly? ;)
