Just got home after early start, weathers crap over there, southerys ( strong wind rain cool )this morning , bright n dry sunny here in chester .Had a mix bag of conditions over the last four days .no fish had just scallopes, big tides dragging the silt about , vis from nill to 5m + got in twice fri, twice sat, twice sunday .no silver spotted to talk of just trout, flatys scallopes n more scallopes and more scallopes piled on top of each, other than last night with dyllun.The odd tale dissapearing in to the big blue.It was a bit rough for my liking at Aberdaron but Dyllun talk me in to going in but with increaseing swell and decreasing vis and felling gidder by the minute I bailed out. less wind it would of been fantastic .should of gone sat night !Porth Ore was better but bitty vis from the weeks of northerlys again would of been great with flatter conditions.Scallopes for dinner!....................just seen Darios post thats why i didnt see any fish!!!!!!!!

I went out on Sunday to try out the new boat, not too bad. I see why not so many fish have been caught yet though. The water is still so bloody cold!! Can't wait my 8mm suit arrive! rofl
I have bought a zodiac pro 420 with 40HP Johnson. I was quite happy on Sunday before realizing the hull got full of water. Not sure why.
do you mean the inside of the hull (the bit you stand in) or between the upper and lower plastic skins of the hull itself (so no visible water inside the boat, but it weighs a ton when you try to tow it out)?
sometimes boats have little valves underneath that let water out when you plane. occasionally these have a little flapper valve that can stick open, so when you stop, water leaks in. Unusual but does happen. sometimes you have to put a plug in when you stop.
another common one is a bung between the hulls. Make sure its in....!
worst case is a crack or delamination between the hulls. Cracks are possible to repair, delamination between the two halves is a bit more tricky and can involve removal of the tubes etc.
Another good place to start is to make sure all the deck fittings are sealed properly. if you put water in the boat when out of the water, does it disappear? might be a leak around a fixing somewhere.
might be none of these , but good place to start. let us know how you get on and ill have a think.

The water goes between the upper and the lower plastic skins. To be honest I winched it easily but then when I took the cap off loads of water came out. Not sure whether it was already there as I bought it the day before using it. The owner told me the water has been going inside since he got it and he thought it was normal. Today I called zodiac and apparently the boat has not been design to do that. I will definitely try some of these things you said. I will let you know the results.
The big rib I use to dive off hull space filled for stubility when still then drained soon as you started moveing It was designed that way .it surprising how much water you drag in coming back in to the boat.8mm wuss !its not the med !LOL.

cool. Might also be worth measuring how much water. If its a litre or two, its no big deal really. I had a friend that used a much smaller boat, about 320, that held about 30L plus and couldnt get on the plane at the end of the day... Not so cool. Sure it can be sorted.

Hi Dario, thought of another idea
Get yourself a cork or spare bung then drill & fit (glue) a bike inner tube valve inside it, then you can pressure test it with the usual soapy water trick you would use to find a leak on a puncture. Also paint the soap mix round your console fixing screws. Sikaflex is the stuff you need if you have to reseal any of these fittings.
Another option to try is to grease the bung with vaseline- the O-rings on those bungs sometimes go brittle.

I think I will take a boat to zodiac and grease broseidon butt as usual. Much easier and enjoyable. rofl rofl rofl
What was wrong with that lube? He probably brought you the soprasada de Mallorca. A good fatty spread for bread but useful on bed too. Lol
