Take it no one ventured down to day ! or they are still on the A55 .Any one got plans for next weekend? Off shore marks could be order of the day .Master Dario been doing for years so there must be some method in the madness !How far is off shore with our wild fast sea 100 yards is off shore to me! Saying that we were out 600-800m and it was only 6 foot deep! Think St Tuds may be first hit any thoughts any one? The Outer Sholes, St Patricks causeway , Bardsey , or Yuys gwyan bach ? or near by kelp beds just off shore where a boat makes it a bit safer and not as hard work?
I'm going to try and get down next week - wind isn't looking that great but sod it, I'm fed up of sitting behind my computer. Might take the boat off around the far point at Cieriad - will take a peek at Tuds as long as the weather is decent - not sure I want to dive it alone in bad viz but will have to see.
No I went freediving instead today . Think I will be out next sat . Have some spots in mind offshore reefs. Id say the biggest hurdle with those sorts of marks is the tide . Rocky pinnacles that rise up from deep water usually have a fierce tide.
You're not thinking of diving at Lightning Rock off Porth Iago are you?
Those are probably some of the most, if not the most brutal currents you'll find on the whole of the Llyn - I think I remember hearing that Dario & Tecdave dived there once on the slack tide... might be wrong though - I foolishly took a kayak around there once... scary stuff..!
Hi all, I surfed Hells mouth yesterday and I have to say that even with head high surf the vis didn't look too bad 
the water was lovely and warm 3mm suit no boots or gloves for surfing. Just thought if ask again if anyone had speared from shell island?

Even though I don't have a boat, I have always been tempted to buy a sailing chart to try to find some shallow reefs in Cardigan bay. I know there are plenty as thats where the divers go but they could be very interesting when freediving...

Perhaps a few of us could club together and charter a dive boat to take us out to some of these places?
Crikey - after checking the webcam for the umpteenth time this week, I can't quite believe just how changeable it is!
(Out of interest has anybody else had a battle with another webcam viewer whilst you're trying to check out the vis where as they are furiously refreshing the beach view? Great fun!..... No? Just me then

Yes, I get that quite a bit, who's interested in a hotty in a thong bikini on the beach when there's visibility to be checked, ohhh hang on a second...... show me the beach, show me the beach.......
Looking at fishing forums seems like it's got plenty of fish but I don't know about diving conditions.
Thanks Dave, looking at google earth I was thinking the rock / sand patches on the last couple of hours of the push. Maybe be the estuary entrance. I like the mullet as long as they are sea-going. Thanks for the advice. It might have to be a nightdive as I will be there with the family and that might be the best time to fit it in.
