Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Hello to everybody fron South Devon and British Spearfishing Association.

Searching spearfishing news in internet a found your chat "South Devon 2007", and that pushed me to write to all of you. Ilived in Torquay in 1998, I was studying English, and of course, I went there with my spearfishing material.
After not few efforts I could contact with Ian Hancock and with Dave O´Callaghan, whit whom i dived mostly every weekend and with whom i went to your competitions.
Still I have the jumper the Assosiation gave me as a present in the dinner you do at the end of the season and I have really good regards of all of you.
I am Bittor from Basque Country, North of Spain, I hope somebody can remember me.Always i was diving with Ian Hancock from Paignton

Also i met more of you like peter crawford, (is he still diving?),but i don´t remember the names, I´m sorry.

Please if somebody know them, just let them know this Email from me.

I attached some pictures to recognize me.
Thanks to all of you.

Hola Bittor, soy Juan nos conocimos en tu cena de despedida. Dave, Ian y Peter siguen pescando todos; en este forum por lo menos esta Dave. Hablamos, Juan.

I'm planning a dip tomorrow morning on the rising tide around plymouth south hams rame head area anyone thinking the same. never been to thurlestone any fish left??

This is the message:

Can anyone show me a picture of a UK trigger fish? There's plenty of colourful specimens to see on the web, just not sure what ours look like:)

Spiderman I got in Meadfoot yesterday and the viz was a meter on the surface and about 2 to 3 meters at the bottom very cloudy. I got in at about 5pm hope this helps

Yup,

I went yesterday and I am going today!

Yesterdays was the freediving movie which was interesting.

Cool
I got my tickets today but cant use them. it starts at 20:00 and Im in Paignton If any1 wants them, theres 2 tickets

As there were no good reports anywhere else I went to Sidmouth again. Got in at mid tide and the vis was a stunning (for Sidmouth) 6m. This reduced to about 1m at low tide. Not very many fish about. Missed one good mullet and saw very little else. Spent most of my time poking about the holes in the rocks. Time well spent though :)

Anyone want to say where the viz will be good this weekend? Stepping out either saturday or sunday.

Tribs

Shoalstone worth a look?

Well Im off to the Maldives Sunday, and it should be ok viz there :)

Nice,

That makes me feel sooooo much better! You'll miss the cold water, murk, litter and cool breezes of blighty!

Or of course your very normal and won't bat and eyelid about not coming back.

Have fun GeeBee and feed a ray for me under the boardwalks.

Tribs

Here's home for the next two weeks...
