i dont think you can get rid of it. Dived today, water dirty, 7 bass. Had to get out as a big seal rammed into my back with its head when was on the bottom. It tried to get bass of my belt as i swam like hell to the shore. Where did i leave my 110 double band gun?????!!!

Only way to get rid of the twitter tag is if Papa removes it from the site. It's on a months trial. He is aware of your reactions.

what with seals and Probeagles - thats why I never have fish on my belt anymore!

I've asked this question before, but I'm gonna ask it again as my birthday is looming and people seemed fairly undecided last time I asked (and things might have changed a bit since then, new people joined, etc):

Can anyone recommend a decent, reliable, underwater video camera for attaching to a speargun?

My girlfriend is bugging me for an answer now, as she wants to get it ordered.

Got the boat, just need the engine (circa 20hp, short shaft, which ain't easy to find, as a bargain, this time of year).

I'm having trouble getting my head around it, but it's my 40th birthday mate, so quite a big one for me :waterwork (and it's her birthday a couple of weeks before that - so not too difficult to spot the method in her madness!)

Dived today at meadfoot, wasnt expecting it to be calm with the southerly wind. But it was ok. Viz as normal good in close 4 somtimes 5 meters, but once got out deeper 2, 3 meters. Dived one my faviote spots, 12 meters down its a big lump of rock with a arch on the side of it and some big gulls running along side it. Hide inside the arch tight to the wall the fish cant see you once their in, its to late!.

Was in a raging tide made things intresting , And wanna be hearos in their boats came over to check im ok lol ( which is good i surpose )...

Wind picked up at end of day and it got lumpy. Will post picture later of catch. some bass and mullet.

I think the issue with banning spearfishing or not in certain areas might reflect on competitions where quite often the weigh-in takes place in the nearest car park to the beach. The National Trust might have been influenced by public reaction to seeing so many fish being caught which in the opinion of Joe Public AKA National Trust member is cruel and savage! ...

I believe the National Trust got "hijacked" by some political activists with an agenda a few years ago. I thought that had been sorted out. Quite a lot of charities are politicized You snooze, you loose.

Dived at Meadfoot tonight and nothing doing down there again. Vis was patchy and the sea was rising in big swells smashing up the wall by the time I decided to brave it.

The hundredth entry in the Hall of Fame was added today. If you haven't looked lately there are some great new catches.

The Fish of the Month UK is also doing well. Some diverse entries this month. Remember the winner is by popular vote so a novices catch or an unusual fish may well be a worthy entry and even a winner.

Have a check of the rules for HOF and FOM and bare in mind for when you make that special catch.
