Very bad habit foxfish I know
dived this afternoon.
viz was the same as friday so spent my time searching the sand for flatties. I found a good size flounder sitting in a sand patch, popped him on the stringer and moved over to another sand patch where I found about 4 cuttlefish buried in the sand so took 2 of them and finished off with another cuttle on my way out
Note so self: remember to clean cuttle fish in the sea before getting out as girlfriend, kitchen tiles and cuttle ink dont mix

I've just been swimming with 250kg bluefin tuna in a tuna farm in malta and handfeeding them mackeral!!!!!!!!!! Oh..... my precious made to measure freediving suit now stinks........... and will never be the same again!!!!! Wished I had a gun........ easy fishin!!!!!!!! xxxxxxxx

Dreamer trust me 3 cuttle fish and a flounder between 5 people doesnt go very far
i got a cuttle once and didnt clean it b4 i got home opens up a whole pot of problems wont be taken one honme ink still in again in a hurry:friday

Dreamer, I was told that there were more than a few parasites in the water with you lot and the tuna and although it must have been an amazing experience I thought that from the photos the whole net could have been a little bigger for the size and amount of fish that it held??
Are they really farming them or do they steal whole shoals of young fish from the wild and fatten them up for sale?
Cynical maybe but I believe they only do it because the bigger fish are almost fished out.
NO!! You have to keep the ink! There is an amazingly tasty recipie in the River Cottage book for cuttlefish cooked in its own ink. I can't remember what its called, but its worth the mess:friday

A good friend of mine was among the instructors and I had a look at the snaps that she took.
Just got back from a night session, were a few rod anglers around so was only able to work a small area. Managed 2 plaice, 4 flounder and a Bass.
I think i could have ad more but that would have upset the anglers I think so will have to wait till next time.
It was lovelly night with clear skies, lots of stars and really cool bioluminescence.

Viz was really clear, and was even better today. Just like being in an aquarium, 10m easy. Just saw a few schoolies today and came home with a decent pollock and crab.

Dived off the boat today. Plenty of fish seen, First bass on was an 8lb 10oz monster I shot out of a big shoal while lying on the bottom :friday
My biggest bass this year. Second fish I shot from the surface and the third I found hiding in the stringweed :martialin shallow water. had a great day but im knackered now roflrofl
