i´m thinking in giving a speargun for my boyfriend´s 31 birthday.
We live in our sailboat in ibiza (spain) but this winter we will cross the atlantic ocean and will spend some years sailing in the caribbean, mostly panama waters (bocas del toro, san blas, also near colombia and some other islands of the caribbean) he has never don fishing sub before, but he is very good diving and good shape so i guess he will get use to it soon.i dont want to buy a very begginer speargun, i would like to give him something he could use for some years. have in mind that in the caribbean he will use it almost everyday. my budget is around 200 usd. he will use it a couple of months in the mediterranean and then in the caribbean for some years if he likes it!! i dont know what kind of waters we will find, probably some of you have been there and can tell me what is better.
