Joel,

I couldn't agree more, I think I have to modify my technique.

Denian,

I think you'll struggle, the weather is shocking!

Made the long trip down llyn yesterday, went in on north side quite far down , terrible viz,saw only finger size pollock. Switched to sw anglesey for the afternoon high and viz was better , around 2-3m ,but saw nothing . Took some video but not putting it up A - because its boring B- am really not getting on with windows movie maker. What editing software are others using out of interest ?

I'm using Windows movie maker, the key is to wait until movie maker has finished "preparing" the loaded clip, which with a full gopro file can take up to around an hour.

Many thanks , im recording 1080 too so yes i thinks thats whats slowing it down.

Thanks for vis report Will ..It would seam that the leaward side of the coast out of wind and swell would improve vis wise, but in practice the swell wraps round most of the coast to some extent .unless things calm down considrebly im not expecting much by the weekend but I will be going for a dip in different places to see.if its northly winds thurs /friday I will check southerly spots first if the beechy spots are bad I will look at rocky areas.Depending on tidel movement the sillty water moves along the coast and in to the rocky areas anyway .whats your views on the subject .I often see brown cloudy water spilling round headlands into bays areas with a very promanant line ,Thinking if I can just get out past the bad vis it would be fine???(stuck in hotel. room workin away can you tell!).Shallow fryed my little plaice from saturday on sunday for tea it was fantastic just need to get a bigger one now.............having looked at wind charts looks like winds swinging round from northlys to westerlys then south westerlys friday pm....so it all might be trashed ....if you dont go you dont know!!!.....I will let you know what I see.

Good eating and the best target practice. I got spooked by big dark shadow in the distance. Guessing dolphins. All in all good sesh. Anyone els get in??

You still there Master Dario give us some clues .Im still playin with me go pro its a FAB little bit of kit .Think the brides going to put it some where dark if i dont stop takin vidio of her !!LOL.

Denian, not sure mate finding any viz is hard enough. Bass will be around till end of this month at worst. A few years back I saw a bass in a gill net at Porth Neigwl a few days before Xmas. So I'm going to try and fish all year round. Scallops crabs and lobsters n anything els I might come across. I'm hoping there will be some flatties around as well. I'm not sure if they go to deeper water during the winter tho.
Ha I think everyone has lost hope for this season.

Certainly not given up......yet!
PM me with an address Ian as I might have a spare tripod adaptor. You will need to get a 1/4'' bolt to fit in the bottom. Ill see if I can did it out.
