Ha ha ha. Love it!!! What could be better, fish or no fish sometimes just doesnt matter! How was viz?

vis was very mixed from 0 to +3m it felt good tho just fishy try and get out in morn the gopro vids i took are very odd its darthvada ?with light saber meets small polock !had gopro and small torch clipped under front end of 45 it was very front heavy!good tho will move gopro back down gun n try again tomorrow in daylight.

sounds wonderfull out side still pitch black caining down n windy sure sheep would be flying past window if i could see anythking.Ah typical holiday in wales! Why didnt i use these days hols in july ....um...... Probibly be the same then .

I think its got to be an early finish today. I feel the need to hunt.

That swell came in big, true ground swell. overhead at porth neigwl. Ive always wanted to hunt under the surf. its got to be a rear oppertunity in this country. quite gutted i missed it.

Ive only done three night dives so far. and from all the fish ive seen none of them seam to be affraid of the light. the ones that have spooked i'm starting to think its my movement and not the light. what do you guys think?

just heading for porth yesgarden if no good the ore let you know how i get on south sides quite rough at mo

Got out at first spot where all the divers go vis was good mixed slightly milky 1 to 8 m or more the gopro worked fantasticly well made up even with the standard lens much better in day light !no silver fish seen to talk of but tons of wrass and dogs high light was mummy seal following me round at a distance but went head on in to baby seal when coming out on beech think we both had shock of our lives .just replaying gopro .weathers horrible today.sea was pritty flat with off shore wind slight swell coming in.vis looks fab on gopro think i was beeing conservitive with 8m could of been 10_15m in places .may try night dive tomorrow poss anglesea in day...................Weathers gone off big style feels like the perfect storm who knows what tomorrow may bring thought it was calm n sunny to morrow ?run off may effect vis .

Denian, Ive been in at the first spot you mentioned quite a few times now. The only place ive seen any silver fish is in the gullies SW of where we all get in. Some cool caves down that way as well. Especially the massive rock!! have you been down there?

I got in last night for a dusk dive. South side again close to home.nothing seen apart from some pollock and an Edible crab all too small tho. still good to get in.

bass debater its a great characterfull spot lots to look at went out round main headland and on to the big rock/ reef and gully between which had breaking waves on it so it was very lively .then checked the coast to south/west in holes and overhangs saw no silver tho thought it wad because of seals.north side looks totaly trashed now vis could b nil but best have a look going in on south this eve if you fance meetin up

Lads,

Where is there any vis at the moment?

Anywhere on the south side that's in the lee of the land. Vis should be 3m+ strong northerlys last night. Westerlys now so windows closing. Happy hunting.

Forgot and away from estuaries we've had loads of rain.
