Spearing north wales

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Looking tempting for the weekend.... Night dive fri eve anyone.....? and

Back in country and really keen to get in the water!!!!, got some good diving practice in on holiday snapping lots of underwater pics,will post up when i get chance , but my ears let me down a bit. When are you next going Patrick ,i may be able to do sunday trip? I need to order a torch before i can do any night stuff.

Nice pics lucky to see that lot where were you red sea?Were they all from free diving or were some bottle diving while you were there.not easy is it getting good pictures even with air.

Cheers, I was in the Maldives , no all those pics are freediving ,did couple of tank dives out there but there wasnt much life down at 20m there, and the light was poor for my photos, didnt have a strobe or any lighting kit. Yeah they were some of the best out of over 500 shots ! Perfect buoancy is key i found. It was great practise for spearing , all slow movements and just waiting holding my breath long enough so the fish felt comfortable around me .Cant wait to get some underwater pics around uk now
 
Just bought myself a £60 Hollis,got me a four pound bass the other night,although I will admit the one that Bro lent me lit it all up like the 4th July (dunno which one it was though.....it looked pricey/The Balls ) Also,think there is a torch comparison websight some guy has done...quite 'in depth' ahem ! To be fair, i often run at half power so one of the hollis would be goodctoo. Much cheaper but metalsub good qual. If you go this weekend, feel free to try mine if you about tomorrow?
