I cannot imagine haunting a teenage boy through courts for such a stupidity as taking a peek at a girl in shower, even if it was my daughter. I would definitely speak to him to show him that his behavior is unwelcome, or even slap him, but never would come to the idea bringing him to the police.

I'm not sure if I understand you either, you seem to be contradicting yourself here.

If anyone commits a crime they deserve to be punished, full stop! Taking the shallow view, one of the girls was a 3rd year student about to take her finals, as a result of this she was so traumatised she was unable to take them and as I understand it she does not feel able to return this year. Now with university fee's being ~ £1200 PA and student loans being ~ £4000 PA now over 3 years that is ~ £15,600 she has to pay up with nothing to show for it other than a poxy diploma (a certificate of failure) when according to her tutors she was heading for a first. Thats as materialistic as I can make it, personaly I feel he got off very lightly considering he upset and menal violation he caused to these young girls which I cant even imagine.

If you think that he should have got off with a pat on the back and to be told "here's £50 go find yourself a hooker and have yourself a good shag, it'll be all better in the morning!" then we live very different lives friend!

Yes, sure, I am also traumatized so much by the governments watching my communication that I cannot continue with my profession, so I am asking to sentence them for life and give me 500 millions. :D Please, get some life, and stop prosecuting people for stupidities, and get better focus on real problems. Or, if you decide prosecuting people for stupidities, prosecute them all by the same measure and arrest first all the owners of hidden cameras, arrest governments for eavesdropping, arrest paparazzi's, their publishers and their readers. Once you do it, I'll admit you are right to judge this teenage, but before you do it, you are just a poor hypocrite.

rofl rofl rofl I just can't believe that anyone can get so traumatised over some "peeking incident".
Taking this to the court caused much, much more harm to both parties and plus, it's just plain stupidity IMO.

When i lived in the Maldives our rooms had open air showers. (no roof) One night I was showering and looked up to find a Maldivian face looking at me from over the wall. I can guarantee you that I felt sick, cried, felt awful, wanted to f-ing kill him and if my boyfriend had been able to find him outside I am sure he would have as well.

You might enjoy girls peeking at you, or think nothing of it, while you are soaping yourself off in the shower, but I can guarantee you the majority of women (especially young college girls) would be upset and traumatised. There is nothing worse than someone seeing you totally intimate and naked when you least want it, or are expecting it! Its like a violation of your body.

If it had been up to me, I would have had his testicles cut of and had John Parrot and Stephen Hendry play billiards with them on national TV! rofl

This case wasn't just an instance of peeking through the keyhole in the girl's locker room. The guy planted a camera in the showers, and it stayed there for quite a while. Traumatized? Hell yeah, I'd be traumatized. I would want the perv prosecuted, jailed, and registered as a sex offender. What bothers the hell out of me is that the victim's side is so rarely considered. People may say "Yeah it was no big deal", but maybe they should try asking the victim instead of making assumptions.

That's good to hear, but it still does not explain why all privacy offenders I named are not prosecuted in the same way. This is what I am pointing to since the beginning.

Just the regular bits & pieces ...but thank you for asking;). (I wonder if it is the black rubber that attracts their curiosity - maybe I should try camo? :D).

To be honest, I am not worried about my privacy so much (as a child it would really have bothered me but I'm quite relaxed about such things these days - a combination of practical necessity & the continental influence I suspect), as I am about upsetting anyone or getting any misunderstandings.

After finally having my first real experiences in my freediving wetsuit, I can certainly see how going commando in it would be an interesting experience. Just the lubing up process alone.... lol :D
