re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

Good video Shiny.
Shows how you find the flatties, informative and well shot rather than just holding up string loads of fish, great to see.

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

Dario is obviously an successful and experienced spearo. At risk of being 'the internet police' I would be interested in some other views on both the size and number of fish being taken.

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

I’ll tell you what lets not bother with the heated debate and just say we did.:naughty:naughty
Dario has put up a video of his YEARS spearing on a SPEARFISHING forum.
If this is upsetting to some of you them by all means please don’t watch the videos that have and will be posted.
Thanks for reading:):)

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

Does anyone else have a picture of a fat girl from DatingUK in Millards post?

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

Millard (Apneaboy)is right, sure Dario catches a lot of fish, but would anyone complain if he strolled in to his local Tesco and bought that amount of fish? Well maybe, but not from an environmental impact point of view, no one would be considering the bye catch etc.

Dario, like the rest of us, eats his catch, and despite his super hero abilities, he does have to eat, so if it wasn't fish, it would be something else no doubt less sustainable. Lets keep it all in perspective and not start judging.

Keep calm and carry on.

Now, where are these fat birds?

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

Such a shame you guys have ruined Shinnys thread!

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

Fox,

Fair comment, please feel free to delete my posts from this if you want to try and get this back on track

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

The best way to get this back on track is with some videos, isn't it? Here are the few that I have done last summer. Old stuff posted in the north wales thread, possibly more fitted for this one:

[ame="http://youtu.be/Kgvfppk293A?hd=1"]Spearfishing in Leyn Peninsula - YouTube[/ame]

I don't know why but I can't get this one as a video on the frame like the others so just click the following link: Sea Bass North Wales April 2011 - YouTube

[ame="http://youtu.be/UUeIEXtBqxo?hd=1"]Spearing North Wales - YouTube[/ame]

[ame="http://youtu.be/qODWolIFCkw?hd=1"]Sea Bass Selection - YouTube[/ame]

Some of you may have probably already watched these.:wave

Good fishing Dario :) nice to see those vids again. I will have to get my camera out a bit more this year...

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

Just a suggestion mods:

Would it be possible to have an opening, regularly updated post containing links (with a title description e.g. Shiny1 - Plaice to be) to the videos to make it easier to view them? I can imagine when this really kicks off, having pages and pages of videos will make it quite difficult to locate a particular favourite.

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

This thread is a great idea - however, I can't help noticing that it is already filling up with posts that are non-video related (like this one!)

re: UK & Ireland Video comment Thread

sounds good to me, also let us know what camera you are using, price etc etc. i'm getting a dogcam wide angle bullit, price is £134 with postage

Hi All
Here's a couple of my clips to throw into the pot...

The first was taken back in October at Bognor.

The second is a compilation of my best diving memories of 2011.
