Rick, like ships in the mist on the weekend! Did you enjoy Penhale? I had some good waves where I was. Last night was firing at Watergate and I drove to work from NQY this morning.

Hello all,

Good to see eight people turned up to Yesterdays club meet and although nothing was caught it was good to get wet and meet a few more new faces.


As i am new to the sport and the club i thought i would ask if anyone has a speargun for sale or any related equipment for that matter.

Im sure with all us newbies there is a market for any unwanted kit and will free up some cash for upgrades for the more experienced of you!!!

For any spearguns can you PM me with make and price please if you have one available.

good to see guys at the club dive - sorry I coldn't put you on the fish but the swell was just to big to get to wear the fish would have been, fun getting out in that swell though!

What's his build (fat, average, thin)?

Where does he live?

I might have a mate who's in the market for a second-hand suit (and then he can stop borrowing mine!), if there are no other takers, of course.

Gaz the suits with me at the moment but will be going back down to Bournemouth soon (he is the GM at Fitness First there). I was going to buy it but it does not fit me either. I'm 5' 7"/73kg/average build. It really is on the small extreme of medium in the fit, more like 67kg and roughly 5'5"/5'6"
.....any help?

Yes thats a help mate. You're a similar size to my mate, so doesn't look as though it will fit.

Good to meet all you guys on Tuesday. The dive was interesting and a bit of a challenge at my experience level ( limited vis a bit of a tide and a fair swell) Thought we made a good safe call Broughy for our knowledge of the area. It seemed I ran out of air real quick hanging onto the kelp being turned upside down. Well guys what is the drill for getting out onto rocks that are awash like that, I felt like I wanted to get my fins off in the water so that I could move quickly on the rock , only problem was I didnt have anywhere to secure them. Hey Wolf diver whats the military take on that one? Could have done with having my speargun out of the way as well. Clive and Paul you are both bonkers how did you manage to stay in one spot out there? Really enjoyed the social afterwards even though I was in the sheeroot yet again with my wifey. Cheers steve.
