This is sick carnage. I wish I lived closer than 2 hours away from any lake that had a combination of vis AND carp. The only place there is carp around here is the river, and good luck with that...

Shot 3 Suckers today at Crystal Lake- dotey is my witness

This brings my ROUGHFISH TOTAL to 81:martial

dotey giving me a run for my money (whatever that means)

ILDiver: They lined up and the shot went through the first ones eyes and the one behind got hit in the gills. I was a split second off of a double eye shot. That's it, that's my shot (referring to Crappies)

haha smallest fish- no entry... i like that for some reason, keep up the good work, i hope soon this summer i can join all of you1

I didn't know there was a "smallest fish" category. Seems funny, but in truth that is the most challenging... I insist that such efforts also result in fillets (and photos :)).

Weight or length?

BTW, why isn't Dotey's shot at Whopper an entry in the "best shot" category?

dotey - didn't enter his shot of shooting at me- because he didn't have a picture :D

Smallest fish- does need pic with tape measure. I figured Nostres would have this category wrapped up.

This is Nostres and his Monster Trophy Perch from last year- If we would of had "Smallest Fish" last year- he would of won. Not sure how he even shot this. A Great shot I guess.

Lake Michigan is a mess right now- off of Milwaukee at least.

Yesterday's dive charters out to the wrecks saw a line of brown that went out a few miles- over 4. Once you get out to 70' of water the top is murky, but it clears once you get down past 40'.

With all of the added effluent that the city just dumped i think I'd wait a bit before I wasted any time driving there to go diving.

Jon

There are alot of people that are just starting out, like 10 in central wiscinson just from forrest starting us all out, your wellcome to come along with any of us anytime, do you have any gear?

i have a wetsuit that is only 1/2 arm and leg, snorkle, jbl double banded spear gun, googles, fins but no scuba gear only free diving stuff

allhunter- Lake Michigan Sheboygan is awesome! Lots of fish- Never too late. If people where in the outlet yesterday they could of gotten hundreds of carp. Today the Algae bloom hit vis dropped way down. I had to dive to the bottom in about 12-20' fow and wait for the carp to swim by. I ended up shooting 20 more carp today bringing my total to 103!

Rough fish total for 2008: 103 :martial
