The Lunocet classic and Pro have proven to have a VERY unique effect... Its arrival can make a frustrated and anxious... sometimes disgruntled customer to a 100% converted fanboi... And that's before they even get it in the water!!! :D

Once they use it, they turn into 16yo girl true beliebers...

Warning: It's not easy to hold your breath with a huge toothy smile and GOOD LUCK maintaining a mouthfill with an ear-to-ear grin!!!

:D

The Lunocet Pro to freedivers, makes a heroin addiction look like a faint desire for something salty!!!

The morning of May 13 2014 will be etched in my mind as a day of irrepressible euphoria, for the rest of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Lunocet Pro Fin and Standard Fin just arrived in the post. I'm jumping up and down like a madman lol :) :)

My Bont Riot shoes arrive tomorrow ... I'm beside myself !!!!! :) :) :)

Thank you! Thank you so much Ted !!!!!!! You are the MAN !!!!!!

Now the learning begins :) :) :) ... and the carbon fibre crafting of hydrodynamic foot attachments :) :) :)

If anyone wants to meet me on Kona Island, Hawaii ... in January 2015 ... for a "Lunocet Pro Obsessives Symposium," it would be wonderful to meet you all and share our obsession :) :) :)
That's the kind of enthusiasm that puts a smile on all of our faces. Great to have you on board with the fins. Now go play and come tell us how stoked you are...

So very true...

News is that people who gave up waiting on their Lunocet Pro got the Money refunded. Ted said their fins was shipped month ago but apparently he never shipped them at all when he sent the tracking numbers. Why lies about item beeing shipped when they were not?
Also why sell item and charge for it without the item even existing? I suggest no more promises and lies unless truth is told. I however still stay in the boat since my wish is to get the fin use in and show it to the 100 of members in my apnea freediving club here. My Dream is to promote Teds Product and help him get his product known.

The bottom line is that the wait is worth it, the fin is that good. It goes even further; it is probably that waiting longer=even better fin. If some of them did not get shipped, it is because some aspect could be improved before shipping. I was there and know it is frustrating, but I really believe in Ted as far as his abilities and integrity. He may not always be as straightforward as ordering off Amazon...but, it is still worth the wait. I am glad his strengths are creative/functional design, manufacturing and updating more than shipping and receiving. There are many fins I could order and receive quickly and promptly-but none of them are like a Lunocet.

I can not guarantee it, but I can second that the longer you wait, the better the fin you will be getting. Little tweaks and adjustments are happening as time passes.
I would also love for Ted to be giving more frequent news and feedback. However from what I understand he is a one man show, so he obviously cannot be everywhere at once. We are in the early days of something very new and have to stay aware that these pioneering moments come with a few bumps on the road.
Like everyone said however, once you get your fin you instantly forget all the time waiting. It does have that magical effect, along with many more...

Afternoon Gentlemen/Ladies,

I finally got my Bont shoes today !!!!! Just have to mold them now :)

In the mean time, I have been working on a new eco spring. It's almost finished. Will send pictures and video shortly :)

Have a lovely day :)

Kind Regards,

AquaThylacine.

Are we there yet? :)
I need an new spring!

I spring, you spring, we all scream for new spring...!

Maybe warmer weather too...

Where is the global warming you promised Al Gore?

I don't know if it is possible to combine the two but a useful feature of the 'foot attachments' would be to accommodate the foot with or without a neoprene sock. If you have a look at some of the more expensive Mavic shows they have two attacment positions for the tensioning system. Maybe something like that could accommodate the two size requirements.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the enthusiasm. There were/are some problems with USPS, some delayed shipments, two lost shipments, production issues etc. that have a few a bit frustrated. That is understandable and believe me it stresses me too. I don't like making paying customers wait or diminishing their enthusiasm for something we all share here with passion... underwater mobility.

I don't like to run off at the mouth especially about things I don't know the full story on (which is just about everything). I am not a great speculator and tend to shy away from those who like to ram opinions down the throats of others about things they may know only 5% about (which again is just about everything). There are a few things we do know pretty much the whole story on though - simple facts and feelings. What I like to deal with are absolutes.. there is something absolute about a national record being broken but there is just as much absoluteness to Chip's enthusiasm, Noa's vision for underwater experience, and even AA's and Nuerodoc's underwater smiles.

The news here is that with all the help from this community major changes are in the works. Some of these changes were prompted by feedback. Others by noticing patterns in experimentation over a decade. The flukes are in yet another revision which, although I hate to speculate, I will say the advancement in performance for the freediver will be greater in this next jump than the jump to the Pro from the Classic. The peduncle and the spring are also going through a major evolution. The changes, however, will be modular and compatible with the existing peduncle. I will have this stuff ready as soon as possible but I thought you may like to know what I've been up to.

Thanks again everyone... especially for your patience.

Ted

Awesome! It will get even better...

Ted, it's very nice to hear your design is still improving.
I think it will be better to have your current customers happy.

Just as a suggestion, offer another shipping method, (DHL, UPS, whatever), one that is reliable.
What you also can do is having a person or reseller in Europe to be your local storage.

It seems the trust in your logistics needs a boost. Please invest 10% of your problem solving inventiveness to sort that dissonant blemish out. Help your Lunocet fly out the door, like it flies underwater.
