I have just added some nice graphs to the personal competitor profiles in the
ranking. There are now radar graphs displaying the PB's (Personal Bests) of all six AIDA competition disciplines of the respective competitor.
There are six axes in the graph - one for each discipline. Then there are four hexagons. Three light-blue-green ones, and a darker-blue one. The outermost light hexagon denotes the current world records for each respective discipline (and for the gender of the selected competitor). Then the second a bit darker hexagon delimits the national records of the competitor's country, and the third one shows the global average performances in given disciplines. Usually the averages are smaller than the national records, hence the average hexagons is usually the smallest of the three. In some countries though, it may be the other way and the hexagon of national best performances can be smaller than the global averages.
And then there is the dark hexagon showing the personal best performances of the competitor. The bigger the dark polygon, the better the freediver. You can also quickly see what the favorite disciplines of the person are. And it is similarly easy to distinguish between pool rats (dark spot shifted to the right-upper corner) and depth junkies (shifted left-bottom).
And of course, the selection of the year or federation the top menu will influence the graph too.
The axes are calibrated in AIDA points (although performances of other federations are also included). The maximum outer grid on the chart is for 150 AIDA points, and the gray grid shows each 10 points. If you move the mouse over the points in the graph, the tool-tip shows you the exact values and labels.
I'll be adding many other graphs (as time allows), and give me some feedback (bug reports, wishes, comments, ...) so that I have some motivation for further work. And many thanks to those who supported me in the past with some donations - it is very much welcome
