ahemmmm... well... ok... ah... wife it's not the arms that I'm worried about being amputated. Don't worry, the freezer will be full!

Nice one Lenny, that's a monster!

I've decided to make Pringle my spot for the summer though. It seems every kreef I pull out there is size and it takes me about 30 minutes to fill my quota. I've also found a spot with some rather large reef fish. No more puking in the water at Soetwater or shooting babies at Millers for me :)

Going out there every weekend if possible, so all are welcome to join me

how unfair! and i'm stuck the whole week end in the blue hole...
no wonder i'm a grumpy bitch!

no need to worry husband, i wouldn't amputate anything else other than your arms! you're safe!

hey X-yeti...got a kreef compie this weekend in pringle bay..hangklip..betties area...you think i can get some monsters at this spot? gotta be at steenbras river mouth for check in at 7.30 am....its an open compie too..so if you pay your R50 you can enter...

Lenny...dived elandsbaai this weekend past...was very dirty...about 1 meter viz at its best...got quota...but not huge...lambertsbay (as you go on the toll road from elands to lamberts..its a gravel road...you will see some farm houses on the right...and some lekker kelp patches on the left ...) definately worth a try..seen some big boys come out there...and it was crystal clean...just a lil rough to dive alone on that day..

Capetownguy - I have yet to pull out a monster at Pringle, so not sure if it is the right place to go if you are looking for just one big boy. Definitely the spot for plenty well-sized kreef though. I'd gamble on Koelbaai for one huge kreef. Unfortunately I'm up in Gauteng this weekend so won't be joining you. Let me know when the next one is though.

haha it was pretty good hey...got plenty bugs...problem is they were around about the same size for everybody in the compie...so it was very close!
awesome viz! warm water! dived moonlight bay..which was just kreef city! shot a hottie of 1.8kg.
