i am jealous did you dive very deep?
I'm going to luworth cove or durdle door on saturday in very early morning. maybe i'll be lucky

we saw probably 10 more very large bass...but decided to leave them as they were healthy breeding stock. the biggest one I took had a limp, so wouldn't of lasted long. Alan's biggest had a gimpy fin like nemo...so could only swim in circles.

nahhh...;)..I left them as I'm going back tomorrow, but at that size u only need 2 or 3 to feed the family. I've promised a BBQ on the beach at my dads place...so will take one more big one tommorow.

i am use to dive in portland where it is prison it's quite strong currents . last summer i was trying to shoot bigger bass dive 10-8m holding breath for 1 minute and 30 seconds sometimes not far
2 min. and they not coming to close very smart fellas. aspect you looking for them in the rocks

over open sand! you just need to be very stealthy. and learn how to move in the water around predatory fish. they really dislike a torch on them or sudden movement.

Went in off chesil cove yesterday eve. Vis 1to2m on surface up about 4m on the bottom. Was really happy getting down 6/8 meters with good holds, took me first shot and lost my spear. :-( Spent an hour looking in vain! Suggestions where to get a replacement. Thanks

I've got one of these from Crystalvis, I think they are www.spearfishing.co.uk/ now. Pretty good & allows me to detach the spear if I have one of those awkward fish I cannot pass the spear back through. About £9. To stop the clip clattering against your gun add some soap tubing over it.
