I doubt it roflrofl

Well done boyo

Well done to matt (scoubaru) on the shore dive turbot. Ispent tbe next hour looking fir his big brothet.

Looks like the bream are about in big numbers now, just a shame we can't see them in 0.5-2m vis.
Also some good cod around too.

Looks like a couple of first light dives for me this week and a couple of deeper spots to hit the cod.

Red gurnard, turbot and brill are proving to be a real problem target species for me at the mo, so back to the bream and now cod. Seen plenty of pringle sized brill and turbot including 4 last night one of which was less than an inch across.

Nice early start tomoro then.:)

you're going well lee... brill are super-hard to spot. I had one a couple of years ago, but only because it had a cut on its back, which i spotted. I had been staring right at it before, without realising!

I have just put the October FOM page up; this is the last month for the speccie hunt, and the last formal FOM for the year...
good luck...

Well a big WELL DONE! to Shiny1 for winning the September Fish of the Month with that superb Cod :) Great fishing as always Nick! I will do the necessary to let Mirror and Neil know, i'm sure they have your info already lol ...

It was a good neck and neck poll for a while, and i would like to say Thanks! to all the folks who voted for my Bream; ah well, must try harder... :)

Well done again nick. Another quality fish you caught. Well done to everyone else who submitted fish aswel some nice fish in there which made the competition close and interesting

Great catch Nick ,I really do not know how you keep finding such specimens let alone catching them but utmost respect ( and more than a bit of envy ,not just from me I suspect ) keep it up though the rest of us mere mortals can live in hope !!!!

Thanks Jonny. That was a cracking bream you had there Jonny and a close fought poll. The cod was good eating Martin and plenty of it. Matt it want be long before you find a nice cod. You live and dive in the area where a lot have been taken this season and last season. Terry you could of found out for yourself how i get on the fish if you had taken up the offer and come out. The seasons coming to a end soon so hurry up if you fancy a day out, weather permiting that is.
A big thank you to every one that voted in this months FOM and to thoughs who took part in entering fish.
Good luck for the rest of the season guys and safe diving.

Cheers for the words of wisdom mate. I've learnt a fair bit this year and just got to put in a few more hours at newish (for me) spots, then hopefully it will pay off. But there's still plenty of time this year for me to get one ; )
