Good job I didn't read that before I went in last night.
Went in at Ladies Bay looking for flatties. In at 7.45 out at 9.40 nice calm evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable dive. Hundreds of small 'soles de la nuit' seen along with small plaice and a few small bass, found a couple of decent soles. Ended up out past the pole so had an interesting swim back in along the reef in and out the weed, very little life though.
Just as I was getting out (gun unloaded of course) I came across a takeable red mullet, never seen them in that close before. It sat there calmly twiddling its feelers whilst I was trying to reload my gun, then the second I had and was about to take aim, yes it scarpered.
