Wayyy off topic but...

Has anyone dived the wrecks of the two b-17's off the northwest coast? (Speedball and Piccadilly commando)

That prop down at Portelet sent me down a Google rabbit hole, and there appear to be at least four B-17' of the west coast- two in shallow ish water. I believe Piccadilly commando is just outside L'ancresse, and speedball is somewhere in the Passee/puilas/grand Harvre area, because a Mr Frank Falla, who lived at the Passe went and gave the Germans an earful for leaving the crew on a reef '300metres' from the passe overnight.

I also heard from two separate sources that some wreckage is visible at v. Low water in the area.

Thanks, Glenn

Have dived the Piccadilly commando many times, as you say, outside of L'Ancresse in 12-15m. Speedball was found by a fisherman when he snagged the prop, now at Portelet but that was in 50-60m of water. As yet, he hasn't divulged the coordinates.

So it seems there is now a three bass per day per person limit in force thought the Uk and in fact the whole EU.
I wonder if guernsey will follow suit?

where did you get that info from Mart? i thought it was just a proposal [originally just 1 pppd].

Spring is here , went for a shallow dive as I'm full of cold and can't equalize, was lobstering and mid assault a bass came over for a look and kindly waited for me to fetch then load my gun! Bass was a good size and all the lobbies were over 9.5cm. All sat in the fridge waiting for a date with a pizza oven, chilli butter garlic and a nice crisp white

Very clear water in the town harbour today, we were watching a Shag swimming under water & catching fry or some type of small fish.

It was indeed Mart.
There was a school of about 50 mullet all swimming together in St sampsons. Lovely to watch. Walking along the paths above the goldfishers and it was really clear over the low. Good signs.

Hmmm about the weight mike.... Didn't have any scales that went above 5lb so did my usual take a pic n eat it . Wouldn't worry bass bigger than that aren't uncommon about here and will get some scales so there will be plenty of opportunity for more bass entries
