You get a lot more bang for the buck with a tovarich or mamba kitted Asso, Sten, Stealth, etc: in terms of absolute performance and value for money.
As with many Omer gear: You pay for glossy advertising, not innovation. After the advent of dry-barrel systems, the Airbalete is a silly 'back to the future' kind of concept.

Any Airbalete owner who can tell the relationship between model lenght
and absolute physical lenght.
For example how long is the airbalete 90/100from back of handle untill mussle.
and also from back of handle till spearpoint when loaded.

Ulysses - I don't have the advantage of having tried this gun - but it does incorporate some innovations and design refinements that, in my opinion, potentially make it superior to existing designs.
Design to minimize potential seal wear and leaks around the trigger.
Superior materials used for lubricant and seals.
Very good performance without disadvantages of mamba kits.
Ergonomic design with in-line handle.

(1) Seal wear? Leaks around the trigger? I routinely replace oil / o-rings every 3-4 years. Never had leaking / wear issues during this maintenance interval.
(2) Says who? IMO SAE 5-10 forkoil is still state of the art.
(3) What disadvantages? I doubt it's more performing than a traditional wet barrel airgun, e.g. less piston travel per overall length.
(4) This is a very subjective matter. IMHO 'ergonomic' handle design is somewhat of misnomer with any out of the box handle. Either it is made for your hand or it is not ergonomic. Play with Utileplast/Polymorph or epoxy putty and you will understand what the anatomy of your hand requires

Yep, it does! So do Nike 'lifestyle' trainers, but I won't be running my next marathon in some of these
Fondue, I am a spearfishing amateur & enthusiast and I have no way to measure shaft speed etc.
However, I seem to recall having read something about Airbalete 90's initial shaft speed around 24-26 m/sec when charged @ 25 bar in the Italian mag 'PescaSub' or 'Pesca in Apnea'. Compared to the alleged (info Maori website) 35m/sec for a Mamba 90 are you impressed?

I've read up on the mamba kits - I know they are much faster. My questions have revolved around durability in difficult environments - with sand, scratched shafts etc. etc.
On another note - I have a friend who uses a small russian gun - honestly the thing is tiny - he was shooting carp here and the power was incredibly - also not mamba. He had with him a cyrano he had done some work on - again, no mamba kit, but changes in lubricant, o-rings and some other mechanical mods. It was a Cyrano 70 and when he shot it you could hear the line rip through the water - the shaft hit the end at 8 feet with incredible force - in fact it looked to me like he was almost risking the thing coming back at him!. I am quite sure that gun would go through a hard fish at 3 meters - probably 4.

I cant find any dealer who have spears for the airbalete on their website!!
would like to see a picture of the thoose , Is it some kind of slidering to attach the line i guess ??? so the line is dragged from the back of spear and not from the front??

there is absolutely no problem in using spears of different brands with the Airbalete or make your own provided the spear has a diameter between 6.5-7mm and the butt matches the piston slot.
The ss line slider on the Omer shaft is similar to the one made by Devoto (honi soit qui mal y pense).
