He was fishing but tried to shoot one bass with the safety on and did not work. [emoji23]
Who got in then?
I managed a few hours yesterday, a great day, excellent vis, water a good 14 degrees (I was a bit warm in the 7mm Polo Sub), early doors I took a small pollack, great shot, straight through the head killing it, it's good to know I've still got a bit of an eye after a year out of the water. I saw nothing else of note, so moved around a bit, once in a new spot I dropped in to about 3m of water, suddenly a huge bass raced from just behind me, I quickly got a shot off, just glancing the flank of the fish. I was gutted, that would've been the biggest fish I'd ever taken! I hung around that general area and saw two more shoals of smaller bass, but they were both just a bit too far away to take a shot. I finished the day with the pollack and a larger spider crab and a belly full of regret at not hitting that bass!!
I wasn't filming when I took the pollack, but I did film the bass miss!

Damn it!!!!! It was a difficult shot as the bass already saw you and was going away fast. It happens Paul, next one!
