Dario did say there was nothing there but I thought he was hiding a good spot but don't thing he's was now may be other spots in that area will try n find out this year.it looked stunning Friday so clear .new coastal path gives great views and access .possible launch spot for small inflatable tender.think off the rocks is a local fishing spot.

No, for once Dario was telling the truth - it's quite barren - a little of weed close in but nothing else really. The bit you can see at low tide is literally just a gravel bar - no rocks, weed or anything.

A definite launch spot if you have a very small inflatable - depending on what size of boat I get this year I might well use it. I launched my kayak there when I was hunting the 'amazing' reef I'm looking forward to doing a lot of diving on the South Coast this year!

Speaking of boats , I have one for sale if anyone is keen . Just bought a as new walker bay genesis 270 . Its an absolute buet of a boat , proper little rib , but its quite a bit bigger and heavier than I though and belongs on a trailer really not crammed intro the back of my estate ! So im thinking of selling it , weighs 55kg has folding transom, integral trim tabs and launch wheels in the hull, also floating floor .If anyone interested I can send pics etc. Bro you may have a shout of being able to manhandle it to the waters edge but its a bit much for me , I want the ability to be able to launch pretty much anywhere.

Hmmm... that quite a heavy little beast isn't it! Is it an inflatable hull or solid hull? I'm ideally looking for an inflatable hull.

Foxy you won't some scallopes ?.Think dyllun might be up for some when he's back from turkey lucky thing !.Got to get this boat out its costing me a fortune think twice boys before you get a boat its just spend spend spend and silly money.hopefully will be worth it all summer.

The water around Pwllheli is 7.8 degrees at the moment - the average temp should be 9.2 degree - this year has set the record for the coldest sea temps. Great!

I've been keeping an eye on WorldSeaFishing forums, catch reports featuring anything other than tiny whiting & pollack are almost zero - probably be a few weeks yet till the bass arrive in good numbers.

Well done mate! Surely the spider crabs must be starting to come in now.... Port in a storm and all that.....! another few days of scalloping too!
