That's fair enough mate, once loaded though, the spear is firmly locked place, it doesn't move at all. I'll agree that the line of sight is nicer with the open muzzle - I was using Daffyd's 90 open all last season, I think I missed maybe two shots, it's an epic weapon!

Your new 90, it wasn't the one on eBay last week was it?

Aw mate, that's some bad luck you're having! The gun is a sorry state, sad to see such a great piece of kit get trashed like that.

On the plus side, you can just chop the broken piece of the muzzle and make your own open head

I had my best fishing in August in about 1 meter viz so all hope is not lost!

A single 16mm with a 6.6mm spear, open head with a single wrap. It's a faultless gun.

I'd recommend rigging the gun with a finer mono than is supplied as standard, also, ditch the horrible bungee and tuna clip on the handle.

I use a cut down Beauchat bungee to get rid of all the pointless metal parts - you don't want to be scratching that lovely carbon barrel, do you?! Plus, the metal parts vibrate and bang on the barrel when tracking left to right - annoying to say the least!

When you go spearfishing you always waste your time! roflroflroflroflroflrofl Just kidding! I didn't miss one weekend this summer but I am really thinking if it is worth to go this one myself.

light southerlys at moment making sea little choppy but vis looks ok to good 3m plus

disapointing vis to night 1 to 2 m very milky but southerly picked up a little very big tide tonight only mullet seen and small smelt and trout head butting me.it was pitch black and a fisherman manage to hook my float ,think intentionaly.i may of swam across him but he was unlit and not in a place you would expect to be.went to 2 nd spot but tide raceing like a train but looked much better vis may try in morning if not north coast.

well that was pretty shit !Did get a small bass tho so happy vis 1-2 m v milky swell is up tide is raceing like a train all in all making it very hard work and nauseating felt quite sick and gave up loads of mullet coming up and saying hello as normal some big ones too .Took 75 with gopro out need reef hook! try north side if anyones thinking of coming over.fogs lifting with wind picking up waters 14 0c .should be be good some where !LOL
