OMER Zero 3 Mask

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I don't know if the Zero is available in the U.S. yet. But the O.ME.R. Bandit and Abyss are. Both great masks. I own the Bandit and is a great mask hands down. I haven't been very interested in the O.ME.R. Zero but I think it might be available in the U.S. But don't quote me on that.

I dove the Omer Zero 3 last weekend in the ocean for the first time. Initially I was afraid of fogging issues, but those turned out to be unfounded. The mask is very wide, unusually so, and in fact it fits my face significantly better when my facial skin is 'bloated' from the 7.5mm hood. It fits less well with no hood.

It did not leak, and the field of view was unmatched except by the sphera-- in fact the upwards field of view is the best of any mask. The downwards field of view is better in the Micromask, and the left/right field of view is best in the Sphera. But overall the Zero 3 has an amazing field of view for a glass lens mask.

The volume is very small, no issue there. The mask was extremely comfortable, unlike the Micromask which gives me a face-squishing claustrophobia feeling.

The only weirdness was that upon surfacing from each dive I had the urge to take off the mask and blow my nose-- not sure if that had anything to do with the mask.

Overall I'm very happy with it, it is the mask I will use from now on. My only warning is if you have a narrow face it will probably not fit.

Thanks Eric, maybe I'll give it a try, though I like the downward FOV too especially if I use it in SCUBA.

BUT, it doesn't come close to fitting me. As both the Alien and Olympia from Omer fit well I hoped the Zero would be the same, but it doesn't, it's just too wide for my narrow face, just like Apneaaddict.

It is the only mask that doesn't fit my face for now :(

but it looks nice

For my face this mask went well, but while swimming in the pool, I saw under the water, the strong curvature of the vertical lines on the edges of the glass. On the seabed, this effect is almost unnoticeable, but on the tiles at the bottom of the pool, very well seen.Other masks Omer Zero 3 in our country there is no.Dealers have not yet begun to sell. This mask was only one at the exhibition of equipment O.M.E.R. in Ukraine. In our country, I do not have anyone to ask.
Tell me please!!!This only happens with my mask, or all Omer Zero 3 ???

Sorry for my English.:)

Hey guys,

does any one have any idea when will the Omer Zero Mask be available for sale again? a few number of masks came into the market and then disapperaed, is it a marketing strategy or a design issue/problem with the mask so they pulled it back?

I have been looking all over the place for a retail ship or an Omer ditrbuter who are currently selling the mask but can not find.

any ideas?

Tried it on today. It presses quite a bit on my eyebrows. Very low volume and very close to eyes. Look forward to trying one in depth to see if my face suits it or not. Look real mean too.

Hi Watts,

where did you buy it from? contact details of the seller?

My good mate divingdane is a dive rep. Only a few in the country. Just tried it on. Don't think ill get one now though.

hey guys was in a dive shop today in Ft. Laurdale and the owner was all excited about a mask that he said just came out and is so new / popular they got 70 in and they were gone in a week and he has a nother 100 on order and all are reserved all ready, he said it was the omer zero cubed, looks almost identical to the pic of the zero 3. looked like a carbonfiber pattern in the mask over the nose area and was such low volume that my eyelashes actually touched the lenses dont know if this is the same as the mask you guys are talking about. thaught it was interesting though that before today i have never seen this mask and then tonight stumbled across this thread.... just some FYI for those who like to have the newest and coolest if they are different masks

The only bad thing I have to say about the mask,is that the strap is rubbish,I contacted the shop where I bought the mask(subproof) and they said that Omer did not find any fault in the construction of the strap!I replaced the strap with a Mares brand and it is perfect!great angle and perfect fit on my face!

Got my cubed yesterday. Had intentions of diving it until I blew a lower unit on the way out (fu@k$hitStupida$$Damn)... Anyways, just wearing it messing around and comparing from one second to the next to my Omer Bandit I can tell, at least for me, the vision out of this mask is way way better. Especially just looking straight on the nose and bridge are so much lower profile it is as close to a one peice mask as it could get with two lenses. I'll report back next week after I use it in Baja.

I just wrote the longest review in history and deeperblue signed me out in the process and it didn't post after my re-sign in. Awesome.

Hi Castro, Would you be willing to re-post? I'd like to know more about this mask.

Bummer. It's happened to me, but it worked to sign in, then hitting the back button on my browser and I found the text to still be there and then posted it.

Agree, can you repost? I'm definitely interested to hear your thoughts.
