OMER Zero 3 Mask

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I think I will use the mask in my bedroom window with a small goldfish swimming around in it rofl

THE DAMN THINK JUST DO NOT FIT MY UGLY SKULL . FULL STOP .

All this, do this and do that, aaarrrggghhhh, it's nothing but pure bullocks baby :rcard:head

Okay boys (and girls), let’s try something new. Who would like to try the new OMER 3 ???

I will pay shipping cost, but then you will have to pay shipping cost when you send the mash to another member who would like to test it!!!

Lets call it: TEST IT AND PASS IT ON!!!

(you only get to keep the mask when no one no longer show interest in testing it - ship to ship with trust in Love)

You will get it in its original box with no bullshit on top!

WHO IS FIRST?

Nice idea! perhaps start with local freedivers who frequent international competitions, handing it over. Let the Omer Zero mask walk!

Maybe add another condition to receiving it, writing a review and posting a picture of one's face next to the mask. This way we can see what faces fit this mask. I would like to give it a go. I'll give you a pm.

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars

Mine is ordered (along with the new Omer Slalom snork). I do not have a beard. (in my opinion if you have a beard all bets are off leak-wise) I also wear my masks quite loose - if I need it tight for fast swimming with a mono fin - I just inhale a little. I expect to review the mask for visual range, volume, comfort and fit. I normally dive with either a sphera or a micromask so I will be comparing it to those. I'll also pass it around to my various dive buddies, one of who has a beard.

For the snork I'll be rating it on ease of breathing/clearing and streamline with a mono fin as compared with my Riffe Stable.

TEST IT AND PASS IT ON !!!

Join now - sign up for the next test - watch the video - Tomorrow I will mail the mask to Kars in Holland and when he is done testing it he can send it to the next guy who is interested in our little TEST THE MASK project :girlie

Mine didn't came with that fancy box
Nice initiative!
I vote for video reviews in the water with some swearing (in a fun way)

The one I had just came in a bag as well, no box.

Mine came only in a cardboard box.

Perhaps it can get to Nice in a week so that it can be tested at the world championships?

Would be an efficient way to get 30 ppl with good credentials testing the mask!

LOL I see it's going to be a popular event!

I'm looking very much forward to testing the mask!

And I am honored to be the second tester.
Maybe we could have the Deeperblue gear testing ring, where manufacturers can send in their best to be tested by the best ?

Ciao,

Kars

Very nice review Fondueset! I hope I can complement that in some way.

Thanks Kars,

I'm gathering masks to do a group shot of the mystic, alien, Zero3, Micro, Cressi Matrix and Sphera. (I cannot believe I've got all these masks around)
Looking forward to your impressions.

I'll for sure do the pool field of vision test from the Fields of vision thread.

I hope I can come up with some more useful observations and comparisons.

That'll be great. I just eyeballed against the back of my van.
Felt good in the water though.

Second thought on the OMER Zero 3

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB2hcsZOMJc]IST Presto rocks the waters (diving mask) - YouTube[/ame]

Reactions: Fondueset
rofl

Had the Zero3 out again today for several hours - also in actual water Carp, in particular, seem really attracted to it.

Even if it's a 1/4 star review, I love your videos
Of course that mask fits great... it's huge and has a huge silicon skirt...

Especially around the nose area it has like 1 cm silicon skirt and the mask is not THAT huge. It is a small mask and IMHO low volume even though not low as the Zero 3, Mares Star etc., but do you need low volume for spear fishing at up to 20 meter???? I don’t. And when I go deeper than 20 meter – free diving – I use my eyes as Mother Nature intended me to do + a nose clip.

BTW just ordered a new nose clip from Czech Republic: nose clip Apnea Academy.

The IST Presto it’s designed for narrow faces and my face isn’t really narrow. Perhaps it is that 1 cm silicon skirt all the way around the IST Presto that dose the trick :crutch
