Great work on the thread, very detailed.
I used to work for the Darwin Aquaculture Centre...so you probably know some of the dodgy crew I used to fish with:blackeye.

I'm keen to find out with all this work what you really think of the performance improvement with your new setup?! I've seen Greekdivers vid's and they seem pretty impressive, but still not quite convinced.

I really, really like you set up:martial and starting to do a something along the same line with my cyrano1100 now and need some advice later.
One thing that concerned me about your set-up that looks very heavy duty (i.e. why else go for slip tip)....is your snap swivel - although I can't tell how big it really is. I just came across this link and it talks about how snap swivels are rated when the force is directly opposite the swivel, but if your line slides up when fighting a big one, then there it can potentially unclip with not much pressure at all.
