wow what an amazing sized lobby well done scott !!!
been in today myself all was very quite alot of small bass seen only a few worth taking but not close enough alot of mullet seen aswell and for the first time ever spotted a big shoalof red mullet some of them a nice size prob 1lbish somehow even though they were so close to me managed to miss:vangry:vangry:vangry found the shoal a little later on and was calmer and took more time lining up the shot took the shot and a tangle at the end of my gun couldnt beleave it atleast i know where to look for them if there around so left the water with nothing had totake some fish out the freezer for breaky 2moz:head:head

Got in at the same spot as Scott but on the later tide. Managed a couple of bass, a john dory and a few decent pollack. Viz was a good 25 feet. Loads of schoolies shoaled up swimming with me. Missed a big un out deep in the gullies :head
It was a nice dive, shame I was Billy no mates

Coincidentally I found a big one in a hole today, but didn't have the b*lls to pick him up - every time I try they turn, take up a mega aggressive stance, and start snapping their claws. What's the trick?

i remember someone saying u should grab them like you would grab a ten pound note blowing along the pvement lol
I tried that with a big spider crab once and the f***er took a chunk out of me!
Good to meet you as well. Had a bad day sat missed everything which
included a nice bass ended up with one mullet a and a bonus lobster
from last dive. Sunday was better 5lb bass and 5 fat mullet. See you again

went for a dive today more bass seen had a nice 7-8lb bass come right up to me on the wrong side it swam away into a gulley i slowly foolowed it in but it was no where to be seen started surfacing and saw it shoot across from a corner:head:head should have looked a bit better. ended the dive with a smaller bass and a gg mullet

dived today gt 3mullet and played cat and mouse with a 2-3lb bass that was hanging around with a shoal of mullet

Went for a dive last night after work only for about an hour or so, but in that short amount of time I couldn't believe the amout of bass I saw! Shoals of bass all sizes from small schoolies to 4 maybe 5 pounders!
The bass were so curious, dive after dive they would shoal back in! took two good sized bass for the table then left, was a great dive!!
