HI ALL had a dive in wales yesterday great vis and a lot of fish bagged a nice bass worth the drive for something different . Hope its all right to do this i have a 4mtr rib for sale with a 30hp engine plus trailer PM me for more details

Had a great dive yesterday at sandy bay. Drifted with the tide into otter cove
and got a mullet and a 4.5lb bass, then swam back to point was hiding in a
deep gully about to shoot a fat mullet changed my mind very sharpish as a 7lb
bass came into view. nailed him in the the gill plate, very happy my best one so far
and finished of with a bonus 2.5lb er.

Hi All,
Late report from the other night but worth a mention. Went out to one of our usual spots, loaded the boat on the way, thanks to the feather line, with mackerel, had 6 nice crabs from my pots and freed a huge lobster full of eggs. Got in the water and though i'd jumped into an aquarium! Crystal clear and out in front amongst several hundred juvenile pollack was a John Dory hoovering them up! bang and the dory was gone. lovely looking thing. Saw some small, scratchy looking schollies and took the odd mullet that swam past.
A lovely night and a new species for my spearo list.

That looks like an excellent catch. That would give you the top 4 flounder places in the HOF if you choose to enter them. Let me know.

It's looking nice out there today. No wind, flat calm and very sunny. I had 6-7 m viz two days ago and the conditions have been the same since. Might be worth the drive ???

I actually decided on Budleigh today as I thought it was time to lay the old helicopter ghost to rest. Wife wasn't dead keen on the idea but she knew it was coming sometime.
Vis was amazing so I got to see lots of fish that were out of range and didn't want to come in close :head
Even the dogfish were skittish today, but that was probably just the fear of Ollie the shark molester...

Went out into the darkness with North1 last night. We saw very little and what we did see was well out of range. Got a new toy for my birthday so tried out my Gekko and was amazed that my sinuses allowed me to get down 8.1m a personal best!!!!!
Took two fine crabs home and the master prize of>.............................................................................................................................................................................
a Full carbon SporaSub speargun still with spear and line fulled rigged lying on the bottom!!! WOOOOOOHHHH!!!!!!!!! Shame that I know who dropped it.
