hi all went out yesterday with peter had a great day with my new toy a 4m avon searider we had a few bass each my biggest 5 1/2 lb saw a bigone but was putting a 4 lb er on my stringer at the time mybe next time saw lots of fish viz good pleased with boat happy hunting

Looks like the fish are starting to leave, Quiet today in the bay, 2 bass 1 mullet and a 4lb pollock.
I been trying out new ground. Diving 2 small islands a short boat ride ofshore, some of it deepish just over 20 meters. But wont be diving it again, On the bottom at about 18 meters with a mullet on my belt, look to my right a massive grey bull seal no more than an inch from my face. Long story short, swam up like a missle and had the seal trying to grab the fish of my belt. 2nd seal incident this seaon, i think they dont like me much.
Apprantly its a large male grey bull seal i saw, This is infomation from a guy who runs a boat to see the seals and dolphins in the bay during summer.

I think I know the place you talking about Matt and yes he's a big bugger. I get out and move when he's about, pointless staying in as he just follows you around :head

yeah keep ure fish on your float beyo being pulled around by a seal cant be nice havent had the experience myself yet but im sure it will come one day
Seal meat is good roflroflonly joking that must be scary quiet in the bay to

I was thinking of a trip down to Devon in the near future and would like to know where I can find a few double figure Lobster’s along with 3 or 4 late season 9lb plus Bass and maybe a couple of dustbin lid size Flatfish?
Any Regional Advice he could pass on would be much appreciated.
