Spearfishing Photos

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Its really a sports camera rated to about 5 metres max. It was taken by my friend so I'll ask him later and post the model name for you. The water was quite murky so I had to use a photo editor software package to remove a bit of the green and increase the red.

Cheers

The camera used was a Canon Sureshot A1 Turtle Kit.

A normal point and shoot camera.

Thats an Omer Alluminum 100 with a modified Omer Excalibur reel. THat yellow line is Dacron from my dads Tuna tackle box.

I added a jbl rail (not that it needed it but anyway)

As you can probably see the bands are the standard 16mm ones the gun comes with and a 6.3mm shaft. Went right through the head at a good 3 metres.

Wierd Fish!

What kind of fish is that and where did you shoot it?

The name is Dumbass (DUMAS)!

Good job smart ass. See, I'm not as funny behind a computer as I am in person like you. :duh Now If I can rephrase the question. What part of the world is he from.

Aquiles

I'll admit I was blessed on that trip, but like I said earlier it wasn't the diving skills cause everyone there was top rate divers. And if I'm not mistaken there's some pics w/ some pretty nice fish that everyone else shot. I'm givin' God the credit for this one, I mean how else could you explain a 17# Mutton sitting 25' behind the boat while everyone else ck's out the patch and doesn't see him.. I just take what I'm given and am thankful for it.
Hey A, don't you have to start shaving before you can grow a goatee? :D
