Unfortunately Louis can no longer make it.
We don’t actually have any more people on the waiting list, we do have several spear fishermen interested but they are not deeper blue members.
To be honest, at this stage I can’t be bothered to go around hunting for one extra competitor but ...the place is there if anyone wants to fill it?

More than happy to dive Mart, I gave my space up as I thought it would be good for some of the new guys on the forum to get a chance to dive the comp and meet everyone and stay interested. I was coming to the social evenings anyways.

If the weather stays like it is at the moment, we will have a much better choice of venues than we have previously had!

I have spent an age refinishing the prize gun, I have taken every single componate apart, re shaped the barrel, added lead to get a perfect balance, sharpened up a few wooden features and I am in the proses of adding coat after coat of lacquer.
It is a beautiful gun...

Oh yes I like cooking for people, not as dramatic as the old version but a lot easier and not half as hot to work with!
I hope Andy our deeper blue chef will like it...

The team tankard, is a tankard that the jersey team offered as a perpetual trophy for the winners of the team event.
However we have not often seen it due to the jersey guys, who not only win it, but nearly always forget to bring it over!
