Once again congratulations Tom

Tolis
Thanks, Tolis! Great reports! I am just not quite sure about the bold claim at the very beginning of the page:

Tom is the first human to break the 10mins barrier

Well, it is true that Tom allegedly did 10 minutes in training already years ago, but so did also some other freedivers (Sam Still, Stéphane Mifsud, perhaps others too), and possibly other humans long before them too (amas, yogis, native divers, ...). So if you speak about the unofficial breaking of the 10 minutes barrier, then the claim is quite speculative.

On the other hand, if you speak about official records, then although the record of Stéphane Mifsud of 10:04 was "just" a national record, it was still a valid performance, and it was longer than 10 minutes. So from official point of view your claim is wrong too, and for the sake of correctness, you should consider rephrasing it. Tom certainly deserves the ovations, but using such incorrect claim only harms his success and the excellent performance.
