It will be gone 6 by the time I get there, & Broughy is running late...

I didn't manage to get down, sorry guys. I was still in Reading at 5.20pm, so I actually got to Wimborne at 6.50 & another 45 minutes or more to Durleston. There wouldn't have been much of a dive for me.

So Cesar, I am up for tomorrow night if you like. Windguru says westerly at the moment, so potentially Dureleston, maybe even Lulworth.

What do you think guys, would Lulworth be any good tomorrow evening?

Hi guys
I hope you caught loads of basses.
By the way,I forgot: ASH :take care we want you back soon and safe.

Yeahh, tomorrow Durlston then ,I 'll try to get there by 5:30-6:00.Unless you think Lulworth is ok???
Kind regards

I could do this evening, but, looking at Met office the wind is forecast to pick up to a w-nw 4-6.

Will this scupper the vis?

Phil

so Durslton then,I ll try to be there (belle view rd) 5:30-6:00
Scott I have ear plugs for you if you want.
See you then

Ahhh
How did it go yesterday????
regards
Cesar

Hay paul, the new guy seemed to enjoy it, he was smiling after :t Think he was figuring out his kit, as it was his first ever spear session! me and my mate nick gave him a crash course in the time it took to walk down the path to the water, ha  My mate nick enjoyed going out and diving a new spot, and meeting some of the other lads in the club! i had a small bass just before i got out in about three feet of water after missing a 3-4 pounder in a shoal of bout 10 fish. by the time reloaded all gone!:vangryaaaaarrrrrhhhhhh.
how did you get on with the drift?

I had a dip at Durlston yesterday. Was in from 1700 till 1830 and saw Cesar just as I was getting out. Nothing seen, but a nice swim all the same.

Sorry I couldn't hang around for a beer, but had to get on.

Next time!

Phil

Cheers for the quick lesson on the path down! Think I may have scared all the bass away for miles around by making a right racket in the water while messing around with kit. I'll be along to future club dives for sure so see you there!

No worries dude, glad you enjoyed! Tis worth spending bit of time at home figuring out how all your kit works and how you like it set up, will save you time and stress when you get in da water! See you next time B

Hi guys, I got down there late but there seemed like a good show of people, I managed to find out you were headed to the Ship Inn but unfortunately I didn't find the right one! Maybe next week eh?

Its been nice to see some fish recently and I can relax now I've had my first bass dinner, now I need a bigger one! I'll be heading out more now to make the most of the light evenings.

Don't suppose anyones seen the vis in the purbecks today?

Hi there
Glad to hear u had fun with the basses we never saw the following day at the same time of the day!!.Also very glad you had new people and they enjoyed too, super welcome.
Sorry Phil ,when I saw you I thought you were just starting the dive like us,we'll catch up in other occasions.
I took pollocks and a giant mullet so I enjoy myself but not a single sea bass ,Scott did not spot any either, bad luck i suppose.
See you next week hopefully and enjoy the weather

So guys it seems that I was the luckyest one on the Tuesday club dive with a 4 bass in the stringer one up to 5LB:) It was a good day I saw a lots of small bass but I was always looking for the bigger one so didnt spear them. I saw few new happy spearos that day with their catches, I wanted just to mention that most of the time the bigger bass is behind the small one so it worth to wait a little bit more unless you running out of oxigen :friday

Had an enjoyable and productive day out with Gaz 'don't put those fish in my boat' Druce today.
4 bass and a mullet....nothing spectacular size wise but fish none the less. We tried a few spots but the tides weren't ideal and we ended up at the first spot again.

Thanks Gaz. I still got chastised for arriving home late though......9 missed calls! oops!:blackeye
