It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
As far as I know Dave will not be there. So for the big numbers prediction I'll have to know who is competing there... And about NR's, well I think a lot of them will be broken, but then again, a lot of them is not so hart to broke ;)

I think the following persons will try to do the first 9+ static in competition.
Ulf Dextegen, Stig Åvall Severinsen, Guy Brew.

Stig will be there - but apparently not in competition.

The new Danish Mermaid Josephine Jørgensen (DYN 172m and DNF 131m) will not be coming as well...

I think the following people have dreamt about doing 200 meter without fins during this competition.
Frédéric Sessa, William Trubridge, Bjarte Nygard, Mikko Pöntinen.
Very flattering to be mentioned here. Not very realistic on my behalf but a very pleasant dreamzzzI don`t recall to have seen William T compete in DNF. Is he on the NZ-team?
Bjarte

Yes, apparently Will Trubrigde is coming - but I dont see Stigs? (are we looking at the same page?)

Well, Bjarte, If I was you, I would have said the same... ;) I know that this type of discussion is putting some pressure on you guys but that's NOTHING compared to what is waiting for you in Aarhus... :t

God, I'm glad I'm gonna be on the dry side of the pool...

Will is in for static, but selection was done on competition performances and he didn't have a dynamic or dnf to his name. Dave won't be there either (unless he changes his mind).

I'm looking forward to the WCs; we've got a good group of kiwis & kiwi-trained divers in attendance. See you all in Denmark (or Sweden beforehand) ;)

ps: Any predictions for the women's final qualification cut-offs?

So there`s been some talk about the DNF. What about the the DYN? What top athletes are coming to compete in DYN? Alexei M? Ant W? Walter Steyn? I guess the Danish team will be strong this year as always:)

AIDA WC in Denmark

For those who like to know the last performance from the heats that will go to the final in each discipline...

WOMEN
STA. 6'24"
DYN. 162
DNF. 129

MEN
STA. 7'42"
DYN. 218
DNF. 157

/B
:hmm

I`m confused:confused: I thought it would be the top 8(?) athletes that would go to the finals. Does it mean we can have a final with 15 people or maybe 5 people?

Yes, Bill... I dont seam to understand your logic here, eigther... You think we will have 8 men diving more then 218m to go to the finals?

Haha,

That is my guess. Nothing else.

(even if I think my guess will be extremely close)

So yes, 218m is what an athletes from the heats have to do if he wants to be in the DYN final. There will be 8 athletes with 218m and better from the heats.

Hi,

I think it is to early to predict any results, untill we don't know the final competitor in-list.

Balázs

That's a big one, Bill... I'm trying to peace together who you could have in mind, though...

We'll see if it holds true.

I willl try to predict the DYN finalists then...

Henning Larsen
Jesper Stechmann
Alex M
Ant Williams
Walter Steyn
Martin Petrisko
Miko Pontinen
Rune Hallum

I know Im a little nationalist here ( 3 danes)... but thats my bet.
Too bad Dave Mullins is missing out,
Morten

You should also count with the French - Fred Sessa already did 223m in a competition, and there are also some others who are capable of 200+ performances.

I knew there was some I forgot - Rune is out then...
And William Winram should might also be taken to account,

Let me see your lists...
Morten

And the Slovaks are pretty strong too - they have several 200+ guys too :)
