I told you the 50m pool for DNF wouldn't be a problem. We saw plenty of PB's, NR's, and the level was not so bad at all as some predicted.
No luck, Chris. I'm day off from work tomorrow, and I'd die for watching Jody in DNF finals.
But yet my 6 y.o. daughter has different plans for daddy's day off....
So, swim tight and make me proud of you two. There will be prezzies from me to both of you when back to town.
Yes, Chris, your estimate was 5-10% loss in a 50m pool in comparison to a 25m pool, but in reality you improved your PB by 10% in the 50m pool. So indeed you were perfectly right, you just mistook the signIt's certainly not 15% like some were saying, but my pace is about 10% slower with more effort. I stick by my 5-10% estimate. It depends on your style though.
Hello all,
Please remember that we will start at 16:00 tomorrow (DYN finals). So it will be one hour earlier than today that we can get the results out faster.
br,

ps. btw the results are already out at the Aida insider Facebook page....
Finally we saw swimming and don’t push at the walls of short pool !
This is apnea swim!
For this reasonI express my congratulations to Fred and Dajana, but also to Goran.
Clearly in the future we will see the best indoor freedivers come from swimming, will be the favorites, it's so right!
When I persisted in Italy to compete in the pool of 50 meters all the athletes did not agree, but then their changed impression.
World championship should take place in the olympic pool, there is no other solution!
These are the rules and sport traditions!
Oh, and you definitely owe Jody a present now!
