Speaking of Dassen...:)

This is a 'can't miss' for all Capetown spearo's...a day trip to Dassen island, departing Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, aboard 'Adventurer', a tri-hulled motor cruiser which holds the around-the- world speed record.

We will depart in the morning, cruise to Dassen in luxury, either relax on her upper deck, sleep below in the cabins, or chill out in the airconditioned quarters and watch freediving DVD's on television! Trip is about 2.5 hours.
We arrive at Dassen, spend the day diving, spearing, kreefing and relaxing, then eat our catch on-board before cruising back to the Waterfront, again, you decide how you spend the trip back.

This is a promotional offer in order to shoot footage and Still images for another project, and date will be as soon as we get good conditions, aiming to be within 7 days, and we will give you one days notice...

Cost for the entire day is....just R300 per person!!!!!

But we need 10 people!!! Book now, mail me direct at jeffa@capetalk.co.za

C-Ya on the 'Adventurer'!

Jeff

When is this happening? Can non-divers tag along? I'm working in the misty cold Drakensberg this week and am longing for the heat of the Cape..

Hej Faizy, realy nice fish there, (15kg?) :) I am really busy on the work front with not much time to visit deeper blue. I spend most weekends in the Cape though and have collected some great kreef off Hangklip and Pringle. Looooving my rabi-suit! Any of you other guys get there? drop me a line, im usually alone there.

Hi Swedish Jim,I blame the person that took the photo with my phone(looks very big),the fish weighed in at 10.19Kg.....Send me a PM with your number.I will contact you if I will be going to the Hangklip area...

For sure we welcome non-divers Jim. Hopefully next weekend, Saturday or Sunday, but depends on the sea conditions.
We will make the call by Friday.

Jeff

I already emailed you, but im definately up for it and my buddy might be as well, but im gna have to check with him if his got money etc...
will be shweet! :)

ooohhh, that is such an awsum offer!!! But unfortunately this month is so tight i won´t even be able to scrape together R300 bucks, :head:headSo i´m hopeing the weather sucks and then it clears up nicely around the 28th (payday):D

Hey Swedish Jim don´t you want to pm me your number as well? You areńt perhaps free on Mondays?

Dassen needs a South Westerly to clean up.......which i reakon is unlikely...so u might get your way Lenny :)

Hi lenny

It is, we are hoping to run it this saturday coming, weather permitting.

Jeff

Hey Jeff, how deep is gonna be where we dive off the boat.

So what do you find at Dassen, other than hotties?

Most of the spots at Dassen varies from about 6m to almost 22m in some areas. You mite find tail if your lucky and also some gallies and milkfish. Ohter than that theres seals and the occasional dolphin pod and we once saw a sunfish...

Let me just say once again, congratulations dude!
What a tremendous blessing, You must incredibly proud!

Hey did the Dassen trip happen last weekend? Unfortunately I was not able to conquer my work load before Saturday, and spent a good deal of Saturday behind a desk!:head:head:head. So break it to me gently: How many Yellowtail did you guys shoot, How many 5kg Gallies where shot?:t

Dont think it happened, i heard nothing about it!
